After purchasing your fish, be sure to keep them Cool on the trip home.
Never leave them in a Hot Car.
A cooler works well to carry them in, and maintain the water temperature.
Take them to their new home as soon as possible.
Float the bag of fish in the pond or aquarium.
If your pond is in Full Sun, place a Towel over the bag.
Direct Sun Quickly Overheats The Fish & Reduces The Oxygen Level In The Bag & Kills Them.

After floating the bag for 15 minuets:

  • Open the bag and add a cup or two of the pond water to the bag.

  • Leave the bag in the pond another 15 minuets.

  • Repeat the 2 steps above twice.

  • With wet hands, gently lift the fish out of the bag and release them into the tank or pond.

  • DO NOT put the Water from the Bag(s) into your Pond.
A temperature difference of 10 degrees from the place of purchasing the fish to their new home is not recommended.
Stress will be to great on the fish and could result in death.
